Insert the belt retainer (37) into the belt clamp. BE SURE the tapped hole in the belt retainer is aligned with the mating
hole in the belt clamp.
Thread the retaining screw (66) through the belt clamp and into the belt retainer (37). Tighten the retaining screw to
400 inch-pounds.
Route the weight belt (30) around the range-of-motion flywheel (8) and over three pulleys (17) (factory installed), as
illustrated.
Insert the free end of the weight belt (30) through the slot in the belt clamp of the seat post (7) (factory installed), and
pull through the opposite slot until resistance is felt. This will eliminate any slack in the belt and ensure proper
tensioning.
While maintaining tension on the weight belt, press down on the free end of the belt so it lays flat against the inside of
the belt clamp.
Insert the belt retainer (37) into the belt clamp. BE SURE the tapped hole in the belt retainer is aligned with the mating
hole in the belt clamp.
Thread the retaining screw (66) through the belt clamp and into the belt retainer (37). Tighten the retaining screw to
400 inch-pounds.
Check for proper tensioning of the weight belt by applying lateral pressure to the belt at a point midway between two
pulleys. Deflection of the weight belt should be less than 25 mm. Loosen the retaining screw (66) and adjust belt tension
as needed.
6. Install the Seat Cushions, Handles and Flywheel Cover
Hold the back cushion (25) in place on the
main frame (2). Secure the back cushion to
the main frame with two screws (57), one
screw (55), and three washers (70). Tighten
the screws securely.
Hold the seat cushion (24) in place on the seat
frame. Secure the seat cushion to the seat
frame with two screws (57), one screw (55)
and three washers (70). Tighten the screws
securely.
Align the two drilled holes in the left handle
(18) with the mating holes in the seat frame
(4). Insert two screws (54) with washers (70)
through the handle and seat frame to
maintain the parts in position. Slide the right
handle (19) onto the two screws (54), and
secure the frame and handgrips together
using two washers (70) and lock nuts (68).
Tighten the nuts securely.
Place the flywheel cover (13) with mounting
bracket (9) (factory installed) on the range-of-
motion flywheel (8).
Align the two drilled holes in the mounting
bracket (9) with the mating holes in the main
frame (2). Secure the mounting bracket to the
main frame using two screws (56), four
washers (70) and two lock nuts (68). Tighten
the nuts securely.
Secure the flywheel cover (13) to the range-of-motion flywheel (8) using one screw (59), spring washer (73) and washer
(70). Tighten the screw securely.
