2.1.2 Scoreboard connection
The best connection between the scoreboards is a daisy-chain as shown below. The star connection as shown
below or other connections like this should be avoided. As this will effect the quality of the signal greatly.
The final scoreboard in the chain needs a termination resistor NG-term to avoid reflections which will affect the
quality of the signal. The control panel should be connected as the start of the daisy-chain and it already has a
termination resistor internal. If a Star network has been made somewhere in the installation, each node must be
terminated and a repeater must be added to each node.
For a daisy-chain connection with cable length longer than 500 meters a repeater can be necessary.
