Brake Switch Operation
The service brake circuit signals the ECM when
the brakes are applied. The information is used to
disengage the Cruise control and Power Takeoff
(PTO) function. The brake signal will interrupt the
Cold Ambient Protection (CAP) featu re and will reset
the time interval for the Idle Shutdown Timer (IST)
feature.
