Create a Configuration Backup of the OLD APEX

Save configuration settings from the original APEX to a file.

Prepare the NEW APEX

Prepare the replacement APEX by resetting and updating firmware.

Restore the Configuration Backup on the NEW APEX

Load the saved configuration backup onto the new APEX unit.

Enable REPLACEMENT MODE in the NEW APEX

Activate special mode on the new APEX for cloning.
