GENERAL SAFETY NOTES

• Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Neverclean,wetorimmerseplug,cordorbasestaoninanyuid.
• Disconnect the power plug before disassembly – the appliance must be
free of voltage.
Dangerofburns!
Hotpartsandwaterpressureinsidethecoeemachine(parcularlyinthe
thermoblocks).
• Letthecoeemachinecooldownbeforecleaningordisassembly.
• Do not touch any hot parts while checking for leakages.
Possibleeyehazard!
Thecapsulerecognionmoduleemitsaninvisiblelaserbeam.
• Do not stare into the laser beam accidentally or direct it towards other
people around you.
• Donotputreecveobjectsinthepathofthelaserbeam.
• DonotremovethePCBfromthecapsulerecognionmoduleandlook
onthepoweredlaserdiodewithopcalequipmentsuchasamagnify-
ing glass or a microscope.

As an addional safety measure, the use of a residual current device (RCD), also called
a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), in the repair centre is highly recommended.
