How do I setup my Netgear DG834G router?
This guide assumes the Netgear router is receiving an ADSL signal and is connected to the
computer using the provided Ethernet cable.
We'd recommend that you also read our guide to securing your Netgear wireless
connection once you're all set up.
Please note: It's normally a good idea to hard reset your Netgear router before attempting a
setup. This is especially the case if you've made several attempts to complete the setup and failed.
Hard reset your Netgear router
1. Make sure your router is switched on, and carefully push something thin, like a pin, into the
small reset hole in the back of the router
2. Hold the reset button in for at least 15 seconds and then release
