Why won't my Neuton Lawn Mower start?
    • D
      David RileyAug 12, 2025
If your Neuton Lawn Mower motor fails to start even with the Safety Key inserted and the Control Bar depressed, try the following: First, ensure the Safety Key is properly inserted and the green Status Indicator Light is ON. Check if the white Button on the Safety Key has popped up; if it has, depress it to reset. Verify the Battery is correctly installed and fully charged. Also, check the Cable attachment for a proper connection and ensure the Mower/Auxiliary Switch is in the correct position. Make sure you slide the orange Start Knob to the left and squeeze the orange Control Bar. Finally, the blade might be obstructed. Remove the Safety Key and Battery, turn the Mower over, and check that the Blade spins freely.

What to do if my Neuton CE5.2 Lawn Mower stops while mowing?
    • P
      Patrick YoungAug 16, 2025
If your Neuton Lawn Mower stops while mowing, and it's not because you released the control bar, a few things could be happening. The battery might be completely drained, so try recharging it or replacing it with a fully charged one. If the status indicator light is off, the circuit breaker inside the safety key may have tripped to protect the motor. In this case, reset it and try again. If the mower bogs down or stalls in heavy grass, raise the cutting height, walk more slowly, or cut a narrower swath. Also, if the grass is wet, let it dry before mowing. You can also raise the cutting height or narrow your cutting swath. Remove the Safety Key and Battery, turn the Mower over, and clean if necessary.
