MAIN FEATURES OF CAMSHAFT
The shaft support journals and lobe surfaces must be
perfectly smooth. If they show signs of seizing and
scoring, replace the camshaft and respective
bearings.

When replacing the bearing (1) use a striker (2) and
a suitable driver to install.
IMPORTANT: When installing, the bearing (1) must
be aligned so that the lubrication holes are aligned
with the holes on the engine block seat.
