    What to do if my Newtec Modem does not communicate?

      If your Newtec modem isn't communicating, ensure the correct AAQ remote, ROM, and Module versions are loaded. Verify that IP addresses are connected to the same network. Make sure the modem has power, and check all Ethernet cables and connections. Also, confirm that the Newtec is configured as the Scan, Coarse, and Fine Source for the current Target profile.

    Why my Newtec 3 00 Modem does not lock onto desired satellite?

      If your Newtec modem fails to lock onto the desired satellite, check all RF cables and connections. Ensure the system has a valid Heading, Longitude, and Latitude. Verify that the modem has the correct options file or is configured for the current Target. Check all Scan and Peaking parameters in the Signal tab of the Configuration Window.
