How to fix a Nexgrill OAKFORD 810-0072 that won't light immediately?
    • A
      Alexander HarrisAug 5, 2025
If your Nexgrill Grill won't light immediately, ensure you see a spark while lighting the burner. Check the battery installation and wire connection to the electrode assembly. Clean the wire(s) and/or electrode with rubbing alcohol and a clean swab, then wipe with a clean cloth. Check if other burners operate; if so, inspect the malfunctioning burner's gas orifice for obstructions.

Why does my Nexgrill OAKFORD 810-0072 take a long time to preheat?
    • N
      Nancy WebbAug 10, 2025
A normal preheat for a Nexgrill Grill to 500-600 °F (260-316 °C) takes about 10-15 minutes. Cold weather and wind can affect preheat time. Volcanic rock or briquettes can also increase preheat time and maximum temperature.

Why are the burner flames on my Nexgrill OAKFORD 810-0072 Grill not light blue?
    • J
      johnsonseanAug 15, 2025
If the burner flames on your Nexgrill Grill are not light blue, it may be due to too much or not enough air for the flame. Elevation is a principal cause, but cold weather or a windy location can also affect the mixture. Burner adjustment may be required.

What to do if the regulator on my Nexgrill OAKFORD 810-0072 Grill makes noise?
    • A
      Anthony LuceroAug 20, 2025
If the regulator on your Nexgrill Grill is making noise, the vent hose on the regulator may be plugged, or the regulator itself may be faulty. Ensure the vent hole on the regulator is not obstructed. Clear the hole, close the gas control valves, wait ten minutes, and restart. Check your flames for proper performance; if the flames are not correct, replace the regulator.

How to fit a full size cover on my Nexgrill OAKFORD 810-0072?
    • S
      shughesAug 25, 2025
If the full-size cover does not fit your Nexgrill Grill, the cover may be incorrect for your grill or it may be a tight fit. Ensure the cover is the correct length for your grill by measuring it left to right and comparing it to the grill’s measurement. Compare the location and size of the hood portion of the cover to your grill. Spread the cover and allow it to relax, preferably in warm sunlight or in a warm room. For a grill with a side shelf, bunch the cover like a sock and put it on from left to right.

What to do if my Nexgrill OAKFORD 810-0072 only heats to 200-300 °F?
    • G
      Gina HolmesAug 29, 2025
If your Nexgrill Grill only heats to 200-300 °F (93-149 °C), check the fuel hose for bends or kinks. Ensure the grill area, burner, and orifices are free of dust, spiders, and insects. The regulator might have been triggered by a safety device, restricting gas flow even without a leak. To reset it, turn off all burners and close the LP tank valve. Disconnect the regulator from the LP tank, wait one minute, then reconnect it. Slowly open the LP tank valve fully, light all burners, and observe the temperature.
