General
CDS 10 is a wireless room sensor that allows you to
monitor the temperature, humidity and CO
2
level in a
room or zone from the myUplink app or via my-
uplink.com. From this, you can change settings in your
heat pump to create a pleasant and healthy indoor cli-
mate. For example, this can be done by raising the
temperature in the basement to reduce the humidity.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
CDS 10 can be used to measure the temperature in the
zone in which it is placed.
CONTROL OF THE HUMIDITY LEVEL
Heating
Limit relative humidity level (RH) during heating opera-
tion.
If the menu setting "Limit RH" is selected, the system
responds by adjusting the temperature to raise or
lower the humidity.
Cooling
Limit relative humidity level (RH) during cooling opera-
tion.
If the menu setting "Limit RH in cold" is selected, the
system responds by adjusting the temperature to raise
or lower the humidity.
Limit cooling supply to prevent condensation on pipes
and components in the cooling system.
If the menu setting "Prevent condensation in cold" is
selected, the system responds by adjusting the tem-
perature of the cooling supply to prevent condensa-
tion.
CONTROL OF CO
2
LEVEL
Limit the CO
2
level in the air
If CDS 10 is activated, the system can affect the CO
2
level by increasing or decreasing the intake of fresh
air.
If multiple CDS 10 are activated in a zone that is set
to affect the ventilation, the average value from the
sensors will be used to control the ventilation.
DEMAND-CONTROLLED VENTILATION (DCV)
When activating demand-controlled ventilation, the heat
pump/control module is allowed to affect the ventilation
in order to achieve the desired indoor climate.
If the relative humidity or CO
2
level indoors differs from
the set value, the supply of outside air is increased or
decreased depending on the installation’s requirements.
If demand-controlled ventilation is activated, you can
select how much the exhaust air fan’s speed will be
affected. The speed of any supply air fan will be adjus-
ted by the same number of percentage points to
maintain the correct ventilation.
If multiple CDS 10 are activated in a zone that is set
to affect the ventilation, the average value from the
sensors will be used to control the ventilation.
Caution
The climate system that will be affected by
CDS 10 is set in the main product’s menu
1.3.3.
