person.
Caution
This symbol indicates important information
about what you should observe when maintain-
ing your installation.
TIP
This symbol indicates tips on how to facilitate
using the product.
General
PCM 40/42 makes it possible to obtain passive cooling
from rock, groundwater or surface soil collectors. When
using a surface soil collector the quality of the ground
may limit the possibility of utilising passive cooling.
The ideal climate system is a floor system, which then
becomes both a cooling and a heating system. Cooling
starts when the external temperature exceeds a preset
temperature and is then regulated via a selected cooling
curve. Room sensors can be used for optimum comfort.
To prevent condensation, the lowest permitted supply
temperature should be chosen in menu 1.9.3.
NOTE
Choice of PCM 40 or PCM 42 depends on heat
pump capacity.
The accessory is suitable to following products from NIBE:
F1145
F1155
F1245
F1255

Mounting
Mount the cooling module on the wall.
NOTE
Ensure to post-tighten all hydraulic connections
again, both inside and outside PCM 40/42, after
PCM 40/42 is installed and mounted.
NOTE
Do not use the pipes as a handle.
Use the enclosed mounting bracket, which should be
screwed into place first, see the following illustration.
The cooling module is then hung on the bracket. It is
now possible to slide the cooling module sideways, which
facilitates the fitting of the pipes.
N.O
NOTE
Install the accompanying securing plate any-
where at the bottom rear of the cooling module
for further fastening.
