All the combinations just created have unlimited use as the
default setting. This procedure, instead, allows for setting a
desired limit to the use of a combination: maximum 999 times;
setting higher values determines an unlimited use of the com-
bination. Successively, whenever the combination is used, the
system will scale down its counter: when it reaches zero, it will
no longer be possible to use the combination.
I1I Enter the programming password. – Press the button
to confirm. I2I Enter the digits 1-0. – Press the button
to confirm. I3I Enter the combination for which use is to be
limited. – Press the button to confirm. I4I Enter the same
combination again. – Press the button to confirm. I5I Enter
the number of times the combination must be used (maximum
value 999). – Press the button to confirm. If the procedure
was performed correctly, the keypad emits 3 buzzes.
7.14 (Professional) Erasing all the memory
programmed in the “Professional” mode, when
the programming password is KNOWN (reference
digit: 0).
I1I Enter the programming password. – Press the button
to confirm. I2I Enter the digit 0. – Press the button to
confirm. I3I Re-enter the digit 0. – Press the button
to confirm. I4I Re-enter once more the digit 0. – Press
the button to confirm. At this stage, the device will emit 3
buzzes followed by 5 flashes of the L2” LED. I5I Lastly, rerun
the procedure for the “recognition of the devices connected to
the control unit”, by consulting the control unit manual.
At the end of this procedure, the device will have to be re-
programmed. Note – at the start of a new programming op-
eration, the user can once again choose which mode to use
(“Easy” o “Professional”).
PLEASE NOTE – Additional functions programmable in
the “Professional” mode are described in Chapter 8.
8 - FURTHER DETAILS – PROCEDURES
COMMON TO BOTH “EASY” AND “PRO-
FESSIONAL” PROGRAMMING MODES
8.1 - Changing the command associated with
the button or button
This button allows for changing the command associated with
the button or button. The new desired command must
be chosen from the “Command” column of Table 5. Caution!
– Certain control units may have different commands to those
appearing in Table 5.
I1I Enter a valid combination for the button for which the com-
mand must be modified. I2I Confirm the password by press-
ing the button ( or ) to which it is associated: the “L1” LED
will emit a series of flashes followed by a pause depending
on the currently set command (see Table 5). I3I Press but-
ton “T” several times for selecting the new desired command
(the “L1” LED starts flashing): whenever this button is pressed,
the system selects the next command listed in the table and
keeps the programming mode open for another 10 seconds.
