To check the radio signal, press a key and place the LED on the transmitter near the antenna of a radio tuned to 108.5MHz FM. A slight crackling sound should indicate the signal is transmitting correctly.

Also, check fuses F1 and F2 (fig. 7) to see if they have blown. If so, determine the cause of the failure and replace them with fuses of the same current rating and specifications.
