2 Ready the camera.
Remove the lens cap and hold the
camera securely with both hands,
being careful not to obstruct the lens,
AF-assist illuminator, or microphone.
Rotate
the camera as shown at lower
right when taking pictures in "tall"
(portrait) orientation.
Shutter speeds slow when
lighting is
poor; use of the built-in flash (OJ 39) or
a
tripod is recommended.
3 Frame the photograph.
Position your subject in the center of
the frame.
