  If there's no sound on one channel of your Niles Amplifier, it could be due to several reasons: * A short circuit or loose wire at the speaker or amplifier terminals. Ensure connections are secure and no wire strands cross from positive to negative terminals. * A short circuit or break in the speaker wire. Disconnect the speaker wire at both ends, separate the conductors, and test for a short circuit with a meter. * The speaker is not working. Connect the speaker to a channel that is known to be working. * A bad audio cable to the input. Try connecting another cable that you know is good.
