  Poor water pick-up can occur due to several reasons. The squeegee blades might be worn or torn, in which case you should reverse or replace them. The squeegee might be out of adjustment; adjust it so the blades touch the floor evenly. Other potential causes include a full recovery tank (empty it), a leak in the recovery tank drain hose (secure or replace the cap), a leak in the recovery tank cover gasket (replace the gasket or properly seat the cover), debris caught in the squeegee (clean the squeegee tool), a clogged vacuum hose (remove the debris), using too much solution (adjust the solution control valves), or the foam filter cover not being properly seated (seat the cover correctly).
