  If you're encountering Magnetic SmartKey Errors with your Nilfisk-Advance Scrubber, first ensure a Magnetic SmartKey is present on the SmartKey Reader. If the key cannot be read, clean both the SmartKey and the SmartKey Reader using a clean cloth and depress the SmartKey between your thumb and forefinger to ensure free movement of the magnet. If a Restricted User Key Indicator appears, place a SmartKey that has been programmed to be used with this machine onto the SmartKey Reader.

  If the Nilfisk-Advance Scrubber has poor water pick-up, several factors could be the cause. Ensure the vacuum hose is connected to the squeegee assembly. Check for worn or torn squeegee blades, and reverse or replace them if necessary. Adjust the squeegee so the blades touch the floor evenly. Empty the recovery tank if it's full. Secure or replace a leaking Recovery Tank Drain Hose. Properly seat or replace a leaking Recovery Tank Gasket. Clean any debris from the squeegee. Clear any clogs in the recovery hose between the squeegee and recovery tank. Reduce solution flow from the control panel. Finally, ensure the vacuum is turned on and set to high, not quiet mode.
