Function Description:

The device features a unique SmartSwitch that allows users to toggle between two primary cooking modes: "Rapid Cooker" and "Air Fry/Cooker." This switch determines the available cooking functions, providing flexibility for various culinary needs.

Rapid Cooker Functions:

SPEEDI MEALS: This function is designed for creating quick and delicious meals in under 30 minutes, combining steam and convection heat.
STEAM AIR FRY: Offers a combination of juicy and crisp results by utilizing steam and air frying.
STEAM BAKE: Ideal for baking fluffy cakes and quick breads with the benefit of steam.
STEAM: Gently cooks delicate foods at high temperatures using steam.

Air Fry/Cooker Functions:

GRILL: Uses high heat from above to caramelize and brown the tops of food.
AIR FRY: Provides crispness and crunch with little to no oil, similar to a traditional air fryer.
BAKE/ROAST: Functions like an oven with dry heat for tender meats, baked treats, and more.

Usage Features:

The control panel is intuitive, featuring a power button to turn the unit on/off and stop all cooking functions. Left and right arrows are used to adjust cooking temperature and time, respectively. A START/STOP button initiates or pauses cooking. Centre arrows allow users to scroll through the available functions once a mode is selected via the SmartSwitch.

Accessory Assembly:

The Cook & Crisp tray can be positioned in two ways:

Top Position: Used for proteins and vegetables when following Speedi Meals recipes or for grilling. To set, rotate the tray's legs outward to extend past its four corners, allowing it to rest elevated in the pot.
Bottom Position: Used for traditional steam and air frying capabilities. To set, rotate the tray's legs inward so they are against the underside, allowing the tray to rest at the bottom of the pot.

Lid Operation: The lid can be opened and closed at any time using the handle located at the front center of the unit, above the control panel, provided the SmartSwitch is in either the RAPID COOKER or AIR FRY/COOKER position.

Condensation Collector: This component slides into a slot on the cooker base to collect excess water and should be removed and hand-washed after each use.

Cooking Process Overview (Example with Speedi Meals):

Remove the Cook & Crisp tray from the pot.
Add liquid and ingredients to the bottom of the pot as per the recipe.
Place the Cook & Crisp tray in the top position (legs pulled out) and add ingredients to the tray.
Move the SmartSwitch to RAPID COOKER and select SPEEDI MEALS using the center arrows.
Adjust temperature (150°C to 240°C in 5-degree increments) using the left arrows and cook time (up to 1 hour in 1-minute increments) using the right arrows.
Press START/STOP to begin. The unit will build steam, indicated by progress bars, and then the timer will count down.
Upon completion, the unit beeps and displays "End." Additional time can be added if needed, skipping preheating.

Preheating: For functions like Air Fry and Bake/Roast, it's recommended to preheat the unit for 5 minutes, similar to a conventional oven, for best results.

Shaking Ingredients: For consistent browning during air frying, it's recommended to periodically shake ingredients. The lid can be opened, and the pot lifted out to shake or toss contents. Cooking automatically resumes once the lid is closed.

Sear/Sauté Function: This function does not have a time adjustment. It automatically turns off after 1 hour for settings "4" and "Hi5" and after 4 hours for "Lo1," "2," and "3." It can be used with the lid open or closed. Always use nonstick utensils to avoid scratching the pot's coating.

Slow Cook Function: The time setting for "BUFFET" can be adjusted between 2 and 12 hours; "LO" between 6 and 12 hours; and "HI" between 4 and 12 hours. After cooking, the unit automatically switches to Keep Warm mode and begins counting up.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: The unit should be thoroughly cleaned after every use.

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely.
Wipe the cooker base and control panel with a damp cloth.
The cooking pot, Cook & Crisp tray, and condensation collector are dishwasher-safe.
For stuck food residue, fill the pot with water and let it soak. Use a non-abrasive cleanser or liquid dish soap with a nylon pad or brush for scrubbing. Avoid metal scouring pads.
Air-dry all parts after each use.

Lid Cleaning: It's recommended to inspect the interior of the lid, especially the heating element and fan, before using "wet cooking functions." If food residue or oil buildup is observed, steam cleaning is recommended.

Steam Cleaning Instructions:

Fill the pot with 700ml of water.
Move the SmartSwitch to RAPID COOKER.
Select STEAM and set the time to 30 minutes. Press START/STOP.
Once the time reaches zero and the unit has cooled, wipe the interior of the lid with a wet cloth or sponge. CAUTION: Do not touch the fan when cleaning the lid's interior.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed for spot cleaning.
Remove water from the pot and rinse both the cooking pot and Cook & Crisp tray to ensure all residue is removed.
Ensure the condensation collector is emptied after cooking.

Troubleshooting:

"ADD POT" error: Indicates the cooking pot is not in the cooker base.
"SHUT LID" error: Indicates the lid is open and needs to be closed for the selected function to start.
"ERR" message: Indicates a malfunction. Contact customer service for support.
