Administrators
There are two user types in the KOMP app: administrators and regular users. Administrators can invite
family members to the KOMP app, edit and delete anyone’s content. The first user who installs KOMP will
become an administrator and can make other users an administrator (Settings → People → Select user).
Adding a WiFi-network
KOMP requires WiFi If you have not purchased o ur 4G subscription.
You may add a WiFi-network from Settings. It’s possible to add multiple WiFi-networks.
WiFi networks are added to KOMP via Bluetooth.
Therefore, you need to be in the same room as KOMP to add a WiFi-network
Social distancing - installing at home
Due to the current social distancing guidance,
we recommend setting up KOMP before
delivering it to your relative.
To ensure social distancing, you can add the WiFi
details of the network where KOMP will
eventually be placed, manually. You will need to
type in the network name (SSID) and password
into the KOMP app.
It’s possible to add your own network first in
order to get familiar with KOMP and add your
relative's network at a later time.
Nursing home/institution
If you’re connecting a KOMP to the WiFi of a
nursing home or institution, we advise that you
contact them in advance to make sure it will
properly connect.
KOMP does not support Captive Portal networks.
