How do I restart KOMP?
KOMP can be restarted by removing the plug for about ten seconds. Restarting KOMP solves most
problems.
My video call won’t connect, what do I do?
Please ensure your phone or tablet is connected to an internet connection. If the call is not connecting, you
can restart the app first. If possible, please ask someone to restart the KOMP. Ask a family member to call
KOMP, if the call still does not go through after a restart of KOMP, contact support.
Can I add multiple WiFi networks?
Yes, it is possible to add multiple WiFi networks to KOMP, if the networks are in different locations. You can
set up a KOMP at your own house first, and then take it to your relative. You can either add the new WiFi
network remotely, by adding it manually (see Adding a WiFi network), or you can add it on location. You
can add new WiFi networks at any time.
The KOMP keyword doesn’t work, how come?
The KOMP keyword can only be used one time. If the KOMP is already set up, you need an invitation from
an existing user. You will then receive a personal one-time keyword, usually via SMS or Whatsapp.
The KOMP app isn’t working as it should, what should I do?
Please make sure the software on your phone or tablet is updated, and that the latest version of the app is
running. To check this you can go to the App Store or Google Play store of your device, and search for
KOMP. It will show if there is an update available. Is everything updated but you still encounter problems?
