Also, check the squeegee for clogs and clean it, or replace the squeegee blades if they are worn. Ensure the squeegee thumbscrews are tight and the vacuum hose connections are secure, replacing the hose if damaged. Remove any debris from the vacuum hose and make sure the tank gasket is in good condition. Clear any blockage from the recovery tank water inlet and tighten the drain hose plug and clear recovery tank lid. Finally, ensure the vacuum motor is securely tightened and the batteries are adequately charged.
