Charging Modes

Standby Mode

Charger is not charging; Energy Save is active. Orange LED indicates status.

12V Normal Charging

For 12V Wet, Gel, Enhanced Flooded, MF, Calcium batteries. White LED indicates status.

12V Cold/AGM Charging

For 12V batteries below 50°F (10°C) or AGM batteries. Blue LED indicates status.

24V Normal Charging

For 24V Wet, Gel, Enhanced Flooded, MF, Calcium batteries. White LED indicates status.

24V Cold/AGM Charging

For 24V batteries below 50°F (10°C) or AGM batteries. Blue LED indicates status.

12V Lithium Charging

For 12V lithium-ion batteries, including LiFePO4. Blue LED indicates status.

12V AGM+ Charging

For advanced AGM batteries requiring higher voltage (15.5V). Blue LED indicates status.

13.6V Supply Mode

DC power supply for 12VDC devices; memory retainer. Red LED indicates status.

12V Repair Mode

Recovery mode for damaged, sulfated batteries. Red LED indicates status.

Understanding Charge LEDs

25% Red LED Status

Indicates battery is <25% charged (pulsing) or 25% charged (solid).

50% Red LED Status

Indicates battery is <50% charged (pulsing) or 50% charged (solid).

75% Orange LED Status

Indicates battery is <75% charged (pulsing) or 75% charged (solid).

100% Green LED Status

Indicates battery is <100% charged (pulsing) or 100% charged (solid).

Maintenance Green LED Status

100% LED pulses during maintenance; solid green when fully topped off.

Advanced Diagnostics

Single Flash Error

Battery will not hold a charge. Have battery checked by a professional.

Double Flash Error

Possible battery short. Have battery checked by a professional.

Triple Flash Error

Battery voltage too high for the selected charge mode. Check battery and mode.

Error LED Solid Red

Reverse polarity. Reverse the battery connections.

Standby Solid Orange Error

Battery voltage too low. Jumpstart battery to raise voltage.

Charging Process

Analyze & Diagnose Steps

Initial battery condition check for voltage, state-of-charge, and health.

Recovery Step

Initializes desulfation for deeply discharged or sulfated batteries.

Initialize Step

Starts charging with a gentle (soft) charge.

Bulk Charging Step

Begins charging, aims to return 80% of battery capacity.

Absorption Step

Increases charge to 90%, limits gassing, prolongs battery life.

Optimization Step

Finalizes charging to maximum capacity, optimizes performance.

Maintenance Step

Continuously monitors battery, restarts maintenance if voltage drops.

Charging Times Estimation

Estimated time to charge batteries based on size and depth of discharge.
