7 Empty your phone
REMOVE PRIVATE CONTENT FROM YOUR PHONE
If you buy a new phone, or otherwise want to dispose of or recycle your phone, here’s how you
can remove your personal info and content. Note that it is your responsibility to remove all
private content.
Restore factory settings
1. To reset your phone to its original settings, select Menu > Settings > Phone settings >
Restore factory settings .
2. Enter your security code, or if you haven’t changed the code, enter the pre-set code 12345.
3. Select OK > Yes .
If you want to reset your phone to its original settings and remove all your data from the
phone, on the home screen, type in *#7370#.
