Currency conversion in standby
mode
In standby mode, key in the amount
that you want to convert (press
for a decimal point, shown as an
asterisk). The exchange rate that you
have set in this menu is used. Press
or twice. Press
(Convert).
■ Reminders
(Menu 10)
In this menu you can save short
reminder notes with an alarm.
To access this menu: In standby
mode, press (Menu), scroll to
Reminders, and press (Select).
Note: Your phone must be
switched on to use this
function. Do not switch the
phone on when wireless
phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause
interference or danger.
Scroll to one of the following
functions and press (Select):
• Add new: Write a reminder (see
”Writing text” on page 8) and
press (OK). You can add an
alarm to the reminder if you like.
• View all: Shows all the reminders.
You can browse through the
reminders with or . The
alarm date and time are shown in
the top right corner. Press
(Options) for the functions
Erase, Edit and Send. Select Send
to send the current reminder as a
text message to a compatible
phone.
• Erase: You can delete the
reminders one by one or all at
once.
When the reminder time is reached,
you can stop the alarm by pressing
. If you press (Snooze), the
alarm stops for a few minutes and
then resumes.
■ Clock
(Menu 11)
In this menu you can adjust and use
the time-related features of your
phone.
To access this menu: In standby
mode, press (Menu), scroll to
Clock, and press (Select).
• Alarm clock: You can set the
phone to alarm at the desired
time. Key in the time, and press
(OK).
