switch your phone on
To switch your phone on press and hold
the power key on the top of
the phone.
When you switch your phone on for the
first time you will be prompted to enter the
time and date. Enter the time, in 24 hour
mode, using the keypad and press
under OK. Enter the date in the same way
and press under OK again.
make your way around
the menus
To enter the menus, press under Menu.
Use the and keys to find your way
around the menus. Each menu has its own
set of submenus. Have a look at the menu
map overleaf for a breakdown of the
submenus.
make your selection
The soft keys control how you choose a
function. On your display you will see what
feature the soft key controls, depending on
what you are doing at the time. So, for
example, from the main display the left soft
key will access Menu and the right
soft key will access Names.
To select an item from a menu scroll to the
item using the and keys. When the
item is highlighted press under Select.
From inside the menus, press under
Back or Exit to return to the previous screen.
You can also access some of your
features directly from the main display:
Press to access your calendar.
Press to write a text message.
Press or to open your phonebook.
You can return to the main display at any
time from within any menu simply by
pressing .
