Info messages
With the info message network service you can receive messages on various
topics from your service provider, such as, for example, weather or traffic
conditions. For availability, topics and the relevant topic numbers, contact your
service provider.
Message settings
The message settings affect the sending, receiving and viewing of messages.
Settings for text and e-mail messages via SMS
1. Press Menu and select Messages, Message settings,Text messages and Sending
profile .
2. If more than one message profile set is supported by your SIM card, select the
set that you want to change.
• Select Message centre number to save the phone number of the message
centre that is required for sending text messages. You will receive this number
from your service provider.
• Select Messages sent via to select the message type: Text, E-mail, Paging or
Fax.
• Select Message validity to select the length of time for which the network
should attempt to deliver your message.
• For message type Text, select Default recipient number to save a default
number for sending messages for this message profile.
