Answering or rejecting an incoming call
Press to answer an incoming call and press to end a call.
Press or close the grip to reject an incoming call. Note that after opening the
grip you have about 1 second to press , or Silence to make the ringing silent
without answering the call.
If you press Silence, only the ringing tone is muted. Then either answer or reject
the call.
Tip: If the Divert if busy function has been activated to divert calls, for
example to your voice mailbox, rejecting an incoming call will also divert
the call. See Call settings on page 38.
Speed dialling
Press Names and select Speed dials. Scroll to the speed dialling key number you
want.
Press Assign and then Search. Select the name first and then the number you
want to assign to that key.
If a number has already been assigned to that key, press Options, and you can
view, change or erase the assigned number.
You can call the assigned speed dialling number in either of the following ways:
Press the speed dialling key you want and then press .
•If Speed dialling is activated, press and hold a speed dialling key until the call is
started.
