- H (Horizontal length): 5 ft
- 87° elbow: 2
1 ft × 25 + 1 ft × 5 + 5 ft × 2 = 40 ft
 
Select “Short length”
[Example 2]
- Vent Size: 3 in.
- V (Vertical length): 30 ft
- H (Horizontal length): 10 ft
- 87° elbow: 3
1 ft × 30 + 1 ft × 10 + 5 ft × 3 = 55 ft
 
