Summary

Fan Replacement and Cleaning Procedure

Remove front cover

Disconnect electrical power, turn off gas and water, and remove four screws.

Remove GFCI

Remove two screws holding the GFCI plate, noting the ground wire.

Remove gas valve assembly

Locate and remove the clamp on the gas connection to the manifold plate.

Remove the fan from housing

Remove three screws and pull out the fan motor with the blade attached.

Cleaning Fan

Clean fan with compressed air, or water/degreaser after removing the blade.

Replacing the Fan Motor and Blade

Replace the fan motor and blade, either as a unit or separately.

Reassemble the Fan into unit

Tighten fan blade nut if removed and reassemble unit following reverse steps.
