first check the following points before calling for repair:

Failure Possible Reasons
won’t start
ķ. The power supply is not connected.
ĸ. Electrical short of air-
conditioning unit causes tripping of the
circuit breaker.
Ĺ. The operating keys are locked.
ĺ
. The control loop has failed.
The unit operates for a while
and then stops.
ķ. The air flow for the ODU condenser is blocked..
ĸ. The control loop experienced failure.
Ĺ.
Cooling operation is selected when the outdoor ambient
temperature is above 46.1°C (115°F).
performance
ķ. The air filter is dirty or blocked.
ĸ. There is heat source or too many people inside the room.
Ĺ. The door or window is open.
ĺ. There is obstacle at the air intake or outlet.
Ļ. The set temperature is too high.
ļ. There is refrigerant leakage.
Ľ. The room sensor has malfunctioned.
performance
ķ. The air filter is dirty or blocked.
ĸ. The door or window is not firmly closed.
Ĺ. The set room temperature is too low.
ĺ. There is refrigerant leakage.
Ļ. The outdoor ambient temperature is lower than -5°C (23°F
ļ. Control loop experienced a failure.
Note: Once the above listed possible reasons have been eliminated, please turn off
the air conditioner and call for a qualified service technician. Only qualified service
technician should repair the unit.
