7.2 Routine Maintenance
ķ. Turn off the unit and cut of
f the main power supply when cleaning the air conditioner, otherwise
electric shock may happen.
ĸ.
When cleaning the cabinet, do not spray with water or other liquid or electric shock or short
could occur.
Ĺ. Volatile liquid like paint thinner or gasoline will damage the appearance of air conditioner (
use
soft dry cloth or damp cloth moistened mild detergent should
be used to clean the surface panel
of air conditioner.)
(1). Disassembly method of filter screen and electric box cover
1.
Open the air inlet grille
ķ. Unfasten two tabs
on the grille as shown on
the picture.
ĸ. Remove the screws under the tabs
with a
screwdriver, and open the inlet grille.
2ˊClean the filer screen
Clean the filer screen by a vacuum cleaner or
wash it
with water. For a difficult
stain on the filter,
wash it by warm water
mixed with mild
detergent.
Dry the filer in the shade (do not expose filter to
direct sunlight)

Note
s:
ķ. Never use water hotter than 45°C (113
°F).
This may cause fading or warping of the
screen.
ĸ.
Do not dry it over an open flame to avoid
warping.
3.Disassemble the left and right side board
ķ.
After the grille is removed, use a screwdriver
to remove the screws s
hown on the picture.
ĸ. Slide the side plate as indicated by
the
arrow and take it down.
