What to do if my North Star A1573701 has low or surging pressure?
    • M
      Michael LeeAug 9, 2025
If your North Star Water Pump experiences low or surging pressure, or no water flow, several factors could be at play. First, ensure there is an adequate water supply, referring to the water supply section of this manual. A plugged pump inlet filter can also cause this issue; consult the maintenance section of this manual for guidance. Verify that you're using the correct high-pressure nozzle. If the nozzle is plugged, remove it and check for blockages. A worn nozzle should be replaced. Finally, inspect the pressure hose for leaks and replace it if necessary.

Why is there no chemical injection in my North Star A1573701 Water Pump?
    • M
      Mary RichAug 26, 2025
If your North Star Water Pump isn't injecting chemicals, make sure you're using the correct chemical nozzle. Back pressure from an extra-long discharge hose could also be the problem; try using a shorter hose. Inspect the chemical siphon hose for leaks, replacing it and using hose clamps if needed. Finally, ensure the chemical strainer is completely submerged in the chemical solution.
