What to do if my North Star Water Pump has low or surging pressure?
    • K
      kellyfloresJul 29, 2025
If you're experiencing low or surging pressure, or no water flow with your North Star Water Pump, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you have an adequate water supply, referring to the water supply section of the manual for guidance. Check the pump inlet filter for any clogs, consulting the maintenance section for cleaning instructions. Verify that you're using the correct high-pressure nozzle. A plugged nozzle can also cause issues; remove it and inspect for blockages. If the nozzle is worn, replacement is necessary. Finally, inspect the pressure hose for leaks and replace it if needed.

How to fix no chemical injection on North Star MA 1578111D Water Pump?
    • L
      Lisa TorresAug 14, 2025
If your North Star Water Pump is not injecting chemicals, be sure that you are using the correct chemical nozzle. Also, back pressure from an extra-long discharge hose could be the cause; try using a shorter hose. Inspect the chemical siphon hose for leaks, replacing it and using hose clamps if needed. Ensure the chemical strainer is fully submerged in the chemical solution.
