Overview

This document describes the N75 Wireless Presenter, a professional tool designed for presentations. It includes a function description, important technical specifications, usage features, and maintenance features.

Function Description

The N75 Wireless Presenter offers comprehensive control over presentations. It supports navigation through slides with "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys. A short press of "Page Up" moves to the previous page, while a long press initiates a slide show from the current page. A short press of "Page Down" advances to the next page, and a long press activates a black screen, which can be exited with another long press.

The device features a physical laser key. Pressing and holding this key activates the laser beam, and releasing it turns the laser off.

Hyperlink operations are also supported. Pressing the "Tab" key switches between hyperlinks on a page. Pressing the "Enter" key opens the selected hyperlink. A long press of the "Enter" key executes Alt-F4, closing the current active window. For switching between open windows, holding the "Tab" key executes the Alt-Tab function, allowing users to navigate through open applications. Releasing the "Tab" key on the desired window switches to it.

The presenter is fully compatible with popular presentation software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Prezi. By default, the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys function as the up and down arrows on a computer keyboard, suitable for PowerPoint and Keynote. To switch to left and right arrow functionality (useful for Prezi), users can simultaneously press the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys once. Pressing them simultaneously a second time switches the function to "Page Up" and "Page Down" on the computer keyboard, which is useful for internet browsers and Microsoft Photo software. A third simultaneous press reverts the keys to the default up and down arrow functions. The "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys can also be customized using the Norwii Presenter software.

Usage Features

Integrated Design: The USB receiver is conveniently stored at the rear of the wireless presenter, ensuring easy portability and a plug-and-play experience.

Operating System Compatibility: The presenter supports Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 or later, macOS, Linux, and Android systems. On Android and Linux systems, it may only support the page turning function.

Customization: The "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys can be customized using the Norwii Presenter software. The firmware of the USB receiver is also updatable.

Installation: To use the presenter, simply take out the USB receiver from the presenter and plug it into a USB port on your computer. Operating systems like Windows, Android, and Linux will automatically install the necessary drivers. After installation, turn on the presenter using the power switch.

Input Method Editors (IME): When using the product, it is recommended to change your Input Method Editors (IME) to English input mode for optimal functionality.

Maintenance Features

Charging:

  • Low Power Indication: A slowly flashing blue LED on the wireless presenter indicates low power, signaling that the device needs charging.
  • Charging Process: Connect the USB-C port of the wireless presenter to a USB port on a computer or a USB-C phone charger using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator will turn red and remain on during charging. Once fully charged, the red light will turn off or change to green.
  • Charging Time: The typical charging time is approximately 2 hours, though this may vary depending on the power supply of the USB port.
  • Charging Safety: The product only supports standard 5V charging. Using a charger with a voltage higher than 5V can damage the product or prevent it from charging.

Troubleshooting:

  • Laser Pointer Not Working:
    • Ensure the power switch is turned "ON".
    • Check for low power; if the LED flashes slowly, the battery needs charging.
    • If other functions work but the laser does not, the laser module may be broken and require replacement.
  • Dim Laser: Laser dimming is usually due to low battery power. Timely charging is required. If the laser remains a dim red spot after a full charge, the laser module may be aging and require after-sales repair.
  • Computer Not Detecting USB Receiver:
    • Verify if the USB port is functional by testing it with another USB device (e.g., a mouse or keyboard).
    • If the USB port works with other devices but not the presenter's receiver, the receiver might be broken or the USB drivers are incompatible.
    • Try another USB port on the same computer or test the receiver on a different computer. If it works on another computer, the USB drivers on the original computer may be incompatible, requiring a data backup and OS reinstallation.
  • Calibration: Calibration is necessary if the mouse cursor moves on its own or if horizontal/vertical movements of the presenter do not correspond to horizontal/vertical cursor movements on the screen. To calibrate, place the product on a horizontal, stable surface, press and hold the "Page Down" key, and then turn on the power. The blue LED will flash, indicating calibration mode. Release both hands and keep the product as level as possible. The blue LED will flash for 3 seconds, then remain on for 5 seconds before turning off, signaling successful calibration.
  • Laser OK, but Presenter Not Controlling Computer: This issue often means the USB receiver has not properly saved the presenter's address. Use the Norwii Presenter software to "PAIR" the presenter and the USB receiver again.
  • macOS Settings: On macOS, users must grant operation permissions for [Input Monitoring], [Screen Recording], and [Accessibility] to the Norwii Presenter software under [System Preferences] - [Security & Privacy] - [Privacy].
