If the UDS-4N is already in the "activated condition" and the shutdown output is included, the shutdown output is only
activated after the pre-release time has elapsed, if this has been programmed in advance.

The behaviour of the UDS in the case of an "activated condition" is similar to that described in the previous point.

This exclusion means that none of the INPUT / OUTPUT signals are managed.

The out-of-service signal is displayed by means of:
– Exclusion LED on;
– indication in the exclusion screen of the excluded items. The EXCLUSION button can be used to display (access
level 1) and edit (access level 2).
General fault conditions
This condition is caused by the presence of general faults, power supply faults, system faults or shutdown faults.
In the event of a general fault, signalling takes place as follows:
– General fault" led flashing;
– active buzzer;
– activation of "general fault output;
– indication, in the 'UDS fault' screen, of the event related to a 'fault <...>' and its details.
If the fault involves inputs or outputs related to the shutdown, the following LED will also be activated:
– failure to switch off" led flashing.
The flashing LEDs will be set to steady on and the buzzer will only go off when acknowledged by the "Buzzer silencing"
button; if a new fault occurs, the specific LEDs for that fault will start flashing again and the buzzer will be reactivated.
N.B.: In the event of a fault due to corruption of the program memory, the "System fault" LED will flash together with the
"General fault" LED and the "General fault" output will be activated, and the UDS-4N will go into a safety condition in
which it cannot perform any operations.
