Activation of shutdown output from quick flow valve
The release of the extinguishing agent can be done manually by acting on the fast flow valve (the release is not
triggered by the inputs) and is managed by the UDS-4N in the following way only if the flow control is enabled:
• If there is no cause to inhibit the shutdown output and the flow switch input is active during the "Standby
condition" or the "Pre-activated condition" or during the "Pre-release condition", the UDS-4N immediately enters
the "Release condition" and activates the expected signals.
• if there are causes for inhibiting the shutdown output, such as "Exclusion", or the "Emergency shutdown device"
has been activated, and if the flow switch input is activated, the UDS-4N only manages the signals (lighting of
the "Release in progress" LED, activation of the "Siren output" and release indication on the display) but does
not activate the "shutdown output".
Siren output
In the event that an activation signal from the flow switch input puts the UDS-4N into the "Release condition", the siren
output will activate even if it was previously disabled.
