Attaching the Knee Platform
The NOVA Knee Walker can be used for right or left leg injuries.
The offset position of the seat provides better stability and
increased foot clearance for pushing forward. When standing
behind the scooter, the knee platform should be offset on the side
of the non-injured leg (see Figure 7).
1 Remove the height adjustment knob from the frame and
then remove the knee pad from its upside down shipped
position.
2 Insert the knee platform into the frame (see Figure 8).
3 Adjust knee platform to the desired height and insert the screw through the
frame, into the platform, and hand tighten (see Figure 9).

Handle Bar Height Adjustment
1 Remove the height adjustment knob by turning counterclockwise.
2 Adjust the handle bar to the desired height.
3 Insert the screw into the hole on the upper steering post and tighten until
secure.
To Lower the Steering Column (for Transport)
1 Pull the lever arm up to release the clamp, and place the lever in the
downward position.
2 Slide the lever to the right so that the pin disengages from the steering post.
3 Gently guide the steering post downward and position below the seat.
