Using the Camera in PIR Detection Mode
Mount the camera on a pillar or tree using the provided
mounting strap.
Open the cover and slide the switch from the OFF
position to A or B or MANUAL. At this point, the status
display will count down 60 seconds for you to close up
the cover and lock it then leave the trigger area.
If you chose MANUAL then make sure your camera is in
the PIR mode and not Time Lapse (TLS). If you are not
sure, please follow the Camera setup and program
above to set the camera into the proper mode.
To Capture Images, make sure display reads CAM:
Once in MANUAL mode, if the display does not read CAM then:
Slide the switch to the SET position, the status display will
show the camera current status.
Press the [M] button once to enter the Manual
programming mode.
The word PIR” will be blinking, press [OK] to confirm the
cameras operation is PIR detection.
Press the [UP] or [DN] button until the word “CAM is
blinking.
Press the [OK] button once to confirm and then press the
[M] button to exit.
Then slide the switch from the SET position to MANUAL
and close the cover.
