Overview

This document describes the installation, use, and maintenance of the Broan-NuTone SPK80L & SPK80NL Fan/Light/Speaker Ventilator.

Function Description

The SPK80L and SPK80NL are multi-functional ceiling-mounted units designed for general ventilation. They combine a fan for air exhaust, a light for illumination, and a Bluetooth® speaker for audio playback. These units are intended for use in ceilings with up to a 12/12 pitch and are not suitable for wall mounting or for exhausting hazardous or explosive materials and vapors. They are specifically designed for ceiling installation and ductwork must point upwards.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Model Numbers: SPK80L & SPK80NL
  • Installation Type: Ceiling-mounted only, suitable for ceilings up to a 12/12 pitch.
  • Ductwork: Requires 4-inch round ducting vented to the outdoors. Ductwork must point up.
  • Framing Requirements:
