Air Filter Assembly
When maintaining the filters, unplug the unit and open the Filter
Access Panel. You will see that the order of the filters, from the
bottom to top are as follows:
Stainless Steel Pre-filter
• Made from rust-free 18/8 stainless-steel.
• Captures and collects large particles and allergens including pet hair,
dander, and pollen.
Bio-Guard
®
Filter
• 8,000V, charges particles either positively or negatively to capture as
small as 0.1 microns including smoke, pollen, and allergens.
Cylindrical Bio-Guard
®
Filter
• 8,000V, charges particles either positively or negatively to capture as
small as 0.1 microns including smoke, pollen, and allergens.

1. Make sure the OxyPure is unplugged. Open the Filter Slot Cover
on the back to expose the filters.
2. Remove all tape and pull the filters from their slots using the tabs
or handles.
3. Remove the plastic wrapping from the Filters. (Bio-Guard
®
filter
is not wrapped.)
4. Fully reinsert the filters into the Oxypure and close the Filter Slot
Cover.
5. Remove the sticker from the control panel.
Note: The unit can be on a tabletop or stand. The
rubber feet will keep the unit in place.
Note: If you are unable to close the Filter Access Panel for any reason, the
OxyPure will not operate and you will need to contact Nuwave Customer Service*.
Exercise caution to ensure the tabs are not damaged when securing the Filter
Access Panel.
General Filter Cleaning Tips
1. ALWAYS wear a mask. Prevents accidental inhalation of any
contaminants when cleaning your filters.
2. Whenever possible, clean outdoors or well-ventilated area, this can
take 12-24 hour.
3. NEVER install a wet or damp filter into your OxyPure. Allow the filters
to air dry thoroughly, this can take 12-24 hour. A fan or strong breeze
can be used to blow through the filter.
4. DO NOT dry with any heat source or direct sunlight.
5. A fan can be used to blow air through the filters.
6. Wash your hands after cleaning.
