What to do if Windows reports incorrect display settings after installing Nvidia Video Card?

If, after installation and restarting, Windows 95/98 reports that the display settings are still incorrect for your Nvidia Video Card, make sure the “Assign IRQ to VGA” option is enabled in the BIOS. Also, check if there is enough IRQ for VGA and try to uninstall the driver, restart, and reinstall the driver.
