Switching the Camera On and Off
Press the Power button [2] and keep it pressed down for approximately 1
second to turn it on in Recording mode. Or you can press the Play button
[5] and keep it pressed down for approximately 1 second to turn the
camera on in Playback mode.
Press the Power [2] button to switch off the camera.
Power-Saving Function
The Nytech DS-8310 is equipped with an automatic power-saving function
to extend the rechargeable battery life. By default, the LCD display [13]
powers off after one minute if the camera is not being used. Press any
button to power on the LCD display once again.
You can alter the preset timeout for the energy-saving function. To do this,
read page 57 – Power-Saving Function.
The Nytech DS-8310 powers itself off if the LCD screen has been switched
off for longer than one minute. Press the Power button [2] to switch the
camera on again.
The energy-saving function is not enabled when:
- the camera is connected via a USB cable to a computer or printer
- a slideshow is being played back
- a video or audio file is being recorded
- a video or audio file is being played
Toggling Between Recording and Playback Mode
The Nytech DS-8310 is ready to record videos or audio files in Recording
mode. In Playback mode the recorded files can be seen on the display [13].
- Press the Play button [5] to toggle between Recording and Playback
mode.
