Write a message
To write a text message, either use the shortcut (press left of navigation
key Ref. from the main screen), or navigate to Messages from the main
menu by selecting Menu (Press Ref. + select Messaging, then select
1 - ‘Write a message’ by pressing Ref.). To select a contact from your
Contacts list, with the cursor on the Contacts line, press Enter (Ref.)
and select your chosen contact. Once selected, the contact will display a
ticked box. To conrm, press the left softkey (Ref.) followed by conrm
(Ref.), then assign the contact to your message by pressing conrm
(Ref.) once again.
Using the keypad
Mobile Phone keys correspond to the following characters:
1 - Punctuation , . ? ! ‘ “ - @ : ; / _
0 - Insert space/number 0
# - Input method settings
Abc/abc/ABC/123
* - Other punctuation
Press # (Ref.) to see next page of punctuation
Press * (Ref.) to see previous page of punctuation
To send a message once complete, press the Enter button (Ref.).
Alternatively, press ‘options’ (Ref.) followed by the Enter button (Ref.).
