- Don’t attempt to open the pump/motor enclosure.
- Don’t remove any labels from the pump or electrical cord.
- Don’t pinch, twist or damage the electrical cord. A minor cut even if only in the outer shell could allow water to reach
the motor enclosure and damage the pump. If you notice any damage to the cord remove the pump and store in a dry
place. Consult your local OASE Dealer for further instructions. Please note that any damage to the electrical cord will
void all warranties and could cause serious electrical shock hazard.
Installation
The unit can be set up either submerged (A).
General preparatory work: Bolt on the suction unit (3) and fit the pressure socket (2). Connect the desired hose for the
water feature to the pressure socket. Adapt stepped hose connectors to the water supply and return in accordance with
the hose diameter (B). Remove the pump foot, if necessary. For this purpose, press the pump foot to the rear, as
illustrated (C).
Submerged installation (A)
Operation with the pre-filter fitted. Push the pre-filter over the suction unit and fasten the filter using the bayonet closure.
Place the unit in the water at the desired position. Ensure that the unit is fully submerged. Maximum installation depth:
12 ft.
Switching on, starting up
It is important to adhere to the safety instructions.
Attention! Never operate the unit without water or without pump filter!
The unit switches on automatically when connected to power.
Height and shape of the fountain depends on the nozzle
used.
The power supply must be disconnected to switch off the unit.
Maintenance and cleaning
Attention! Always disconnect the power supply prior to starting cleaning and maintenance work!
For cleaning, take the unit out of the water and clean the pre-filter and the suction unit.
Storage/Over-wintering
The unit is of frost-proof design and may stay in the water over the winter. Should you choose to take the unit out of the
water, then store it in a water filled container (D). Do not immerse the plug!
Disposal
Dispose of the unit in accordance with the national legal regulations.
Malfunctions
Never open the housing! Only allow a qualified electrician to replace the power cable!
Limited Warranty (S 6)
This OASE Neptun pump is covered by a 3-year limited warranty by OASE. The limited warranty period begins from the
date of purchase and covers material and manufacturing defects or failure of the product to operate as specified by OASE
during the duration of the limited warranty period.
This limited warranty does not cover failure or problems related to:
- Improper installation see this manual for proper installation procedures.
- Modification of the product in any way including attempts to repair the product by someone other than an OASE trained
and authorized repair technician.
- Failure to follow proper safety, care and maintenance guidelines as outlined in this manual.
It also does not cover those parts of the product that are subject to normal wear and tear during usage of the product,
such as:
- Impellers on pumps
- Filter pads and filter medium in filters
- Lamps in lights and UV clarifiers
Trouble shooting Cause Remedy
