Remedy of faults
Malfunction Cause Remedy
Pump does not start. No supply voltage
Check the supply voltage
Check supply lines.
Pump does not receive any control signals Check control unit/control cable
Internal electronic fault Please read the information regarding unit and
show programming
Pump does not deliver. Filter housing clogged Clean
Excessively soiled water Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
The impeller unit is blocked Switch off pump and remove obstacle. Then
switch the pump on again.
Insufficient delivered quantity Filter housing clogged Clean
Excessive loss in the supply lines
Select larger hose diameter
Reduce hose length to reduce frictional loss
Avoid unnecessary connection elements
Pump switches off after a short running period. Excessively soiled water Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
For use under water: Water temperature too
high
Note maximum water temperature of +35°C.
The pump automatically switches on again
once the motor has cooled down.
For dry set-up: Ambient temperature too high Adhere to the maximum ambient temperature
of +40°C The pump automatically switches on
again once the motor has cooled down.
The impeller unit is blocked Switch off pump and remove obstacle. Then
switch the pump on again.
Pump has run dry. Flood the pump. Fully submerge the pump for
operation in a pond.
Maintenance and cleaning
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into
the water.
Isolate the unit before starting any work.
Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Unit maintenance
The unit requires regular maintenance. Carry out the work according to the maintenance schedule.
Only allow the maintenance work to be carried out by trained personnel who are qualified for these activities due to
their technical training, knowledge and experience.
Cleaning the unit
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they could attack the housing or impair the function
of the unit.
Recommended cleaning agent for removing stubborn limescale deposits:
– Pump cleaning agent PumpClean from OASE.
– Vinegar- and chlorine-free household cleaning agent.
After cleaning, thoroughly rinse all parts in clean water.
How to proceed:
H
1. Remove the screws for fastening the filter basket and remove the filter basket.
2. Clean all parts.
– Use a soft brush.
– Rinse parts in clean water.
3. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.
