TIRE VALVES
OHM bicycles use Schraeder tire valves:
The Schraeder valve (see Fig 4.7b) is like the valve on a car tire.
To inflate a Schraeder valve tube, remove the valve cap and clamp
the pump fitting onto the end of the valve stem. To let air out of a
Schraeder valve, depress the pin in the end of the valve stem with
the end of a key or other appropriate object. The bicycle pump you
use must have the fitting appropriate to the valve stem on the
bicycle.
4.8 LIGHTS
Your OHM bicycle is equipped with standard front and rear 12V
lighting system that is connected directly to the battery pack. To
activate the lighting system, press the Mode button on the Command
Console for 3 seconds. To turn the lighting system off, press the
Mode button for three seconds.
>> NOTE: To ensure proper function and a full operating life of your
lighting system, we recommend that you ensure that all accessories
are kept clean and properly fastened or secured. This is particularly
important when riding in wet or muddy conditions, which your lighting
system is designed to withstand. Keeping your system clean from
dirt, dust or water will help prolong its life and overall performance.

4.9 POWER ASSIST DRIVE SYSTEM
The power assist drive system, consisting of a motor-wheel /
generator, battery pack, and digital command console, is what makes
your OHM unique from other bicycles on the market. This intelligent
energy management system allows you to travel long distances
without exhausting yourself. It is therefore very important that you
know how to operate the system with confidence and ease. If you are
unclear about any of the features or functions of the system, contact
your local dealer before you set out for your first ride.
