If you are a beginner, it is advisable to use the minimum speed by moving
the selector (7) to “L”.
7. After nishing stitching, turn the handwheel (6) anticlockwise to raise the needle
(10) to the highest position.
Raise the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) upwards, then remove the
fabric and cut the thread with the appropriate thread cutter (11).
If you want to change the stitch during sewing, rst lift the needle by turning
the handwheel (6) counterclockwise and then turn the knob (17).
If the thread has become tangled or jammed, turn the handwheel slightly
and gently pull the thread to allow it to untie.
The mechanism of the lower coil is very delicate; inappropriate actions can
damage it.
Do not push or pull it with your ngers or other tools.
> > Reverse sewing
The reverse sewing is ideal for “reinforcing” the beginning and end of the seam.
1. While sewing forwards, keep the selector (18) pressed down; the appliance
starts reverse sewing.
2. Once the reverse sewing is nished, release the selector (18); the appliance re-
sumes sewing forward.
The reverse sewing should not exceed 5 cm continuously.
