GENERAL WARNINGS

The installation must be carried out following the manufacturer
instructions. A wrong installation could cause damages to
people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be
considered liable.
• To avoid dangerous overheatings, to straighten the whole power cord is
recommended.
• Do not leave the appliance unnecessarily inserted. Disconnect the plug
from the mains power supply when the appliance is not used.
• If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be changed
exclusively by a technical assistance centre authorized by the manufacturer,
since special tools are necessary.
The electrical safety of this appliance is guaranteed only when
it is correctly connected to an eective grounding system as
specied by the current norms on electrical safety.
• It’s necessary to check this fundamental safety condition and, in case of
doubts, ask for an accurate check of the system by professionally qualied
personnel.
The manufacturer cannot be considered liable for possible damages
caused by the lack of grounding of the system.
• Before carrying out any operation turn o the appliance and disconnect
the power plug from the outlet.
• Don’t connect the appliance to the power supply through external timers
or remote control systems.

Make sure that the power cord or the steam iron do not protrude
from the bearing plane in order to prevent that someone could,
even inadvertently, pull them toppling the appliance.

Place the appliance on an horizontal and very stable bearing plane.
Make sure that the appliance is safely supported.
