During
cold
weather
there is a slight possibility
that
moisture may freeze in the
door
cylinder
or
trunk
lock
and
make it difficult to insert the key.
If
this should happen,
heat
the key with a match
or
pocket
lighter
and
insert
it several times into
the
cylinder until the key can be turned.
HOOD
LATCH
To
open
the
hood,
lift
up
on
the release lever
located
just
below the hood
lower
ornament
at the front
of
the hood. Integral with the release lever
is
a
safety hook which can be disengaged by continuing pressure
on
the release
lever while raising hood, until safety hook passes its point
of
engagement.
To
close, push hood down firmly.
